This site was done in order to showcase some possible functionality that Cathartic Design can offer your business through our flash development services. All images in the flash interface are populated dynamically, meaning that an administrator has the ability to update what images are shown through a custom content management system. Through this example, users can browse through multiple picture galleries along with previewing different paint colors of the Cadillac XLR.

Hose Knows: Firesafety

This prospective site was designed for Saugeen Shore's Fire Department who came to Fanshawe College in order to investigate potential mascot and flash game concepts in order to promote fire safety awareness for children.
Our submission created a loveable character named "Hose Knows" whose main message was to ensure that every floor of a house have a smoke alarm present. While the game was only simulated, the premise was that Hose Knows would 'shoot' the correct number of smoke alarms into a building depending on how many floors they have. Players would earn points for correctly matching the number of floors to the corresponding amount of smoke alarms. Players would be successful and advance to higher levels providing enough houses were 'fire safe'. Additional fire safety questions would be posed between levels.

3D Racquet Example

3d development is a relatively new pursuit for Cathartic Design. In this example we have created a fully computer generated squash racquet which we have animated and exported into a high resolution video. We then developed a video player in flash which is programmed to release details about the racquet at different points in the video sequence.
This type of functionality would be ideal for advertising or demonstrating a product and its features.
